Mixers

Kreyenborg Universal Quick Mixer/Silos USM Type - eFACTOR3

USM

The stable and easy to operate Universal Quick Mixer USM type is used wherever pourable bulk materials must be quickly and economically mixed.

Application Precise blending of bulk materials.
Products For example: granules, masterbatch, compounds, agglomerates, powder, flakes, cut / ground freight.
Form The USM consists essentially of a cylindrical container with a cone and a centrally-oriented mixing screw.
Mixing screw Mixing screw is located in a mixing tube
Function The product is taken up by the mixing screw and is conveyed upwards through the mixing tube. At the top of the screw an ejector (distributes) casts the material downward, spreading it finely throughout the mixing bin.
Feeding The mixer can be fed either through a filling device at the top or by the optional lower feed hopper.
Maintenance The mixer is entirely accessible through a large cover flap and manholes in the cylinder and the cone. Since there are no dead areas, the machine can be quickly and thoroughly cleaned, then used with other products.
Emptying Emptying can be adjusted to various aggregates, and to individual units.

SFM

The stable and easy-to-operate SFM mixer is specially designed for light and sensitive solids, developed and used for products that need to be quickly and thoroughly, but gently mixed. It makes for optimal homogenization of products. The SFM also allows for quick and easy cleaning.

Products For example: granules, masterbatch, compounds, agglomerates, powder, flakes, cut / ground freight.
Form The SFM consists essentially of a cylindrical container with a cone and a spiral, close-clearance mixing screw.
Mixing screw Mixing screw spiraling and close-clearance mixing screw.
Function The product is mixed homogeneously and permanently by the spiral and close-clearance mixing screw. No dead zones in the container.
Feeding The mixer can be filled in various ways, for example, from above via a nozzle or through a side hopper.
Maintenance The mixer is entirely accessible through a large cover flap and manholes in the cylinder and the cone. Since there are no dead areas, the machine can be quickly and thoroughly cleaned, then used with other products.

MBM

The stable and easy to operate Quick Mixer MBM type is specifically designed for sensitive bulk materials and is used where products need to be handled gently and quickly mixed. It makes for an optimal homogenization of products. The MBM allows a quick and easy cleaning.

Application Gentle and rapid mixing of bulk materials.
Products For example: granules, masterbatch, compounds, agglomerates, powder, flakes, cut / ground freight.
Form The Quick Mixer MBM type based on the well-proven principle of a vertical, centrally arranged screw.
Mixing screw Mixing screw stay free inside the mixer.
Function The product is continuously and gently mixed by mixing screw and it makes for a optimal homogenization of products.
Feeding The mixer can be fed in various ways, for example, through a filling device at the top or by the optional lower feed hopper.
Emptying The outlet pipe, which is located centrally below the cone, provides a very good emptying of residual material.
Maintenance All places inside the mixer are freely accessible through a large cover flap and manholes in the cylinder and the cone. There are no dead areas, so the machine can be quickly and effectively cleaned and converted to other products.

Stock Silo

Stock Silos are used for interim storage of sophisticated and high-quality bulk solids, such as pellets, raw material or powder. We offer standard silo diameters up to 110 in (2,850 mm) but we will gladly add additional diameters for our customers.

Products For example: plastics, raw materials, pellets, agglomerates, flakes, cut / ground freight.
Feeding Tangential feeding via pressure transport.
Manhole Manhole with end switches for better maintenance of the silo.
Volume Per demand.
Materials Aluminum, standard- or stainless steel.
Railing/vertical ladder Optional, with guard rails on top and vertical ladder, including back protection.
Options Other options and sizes available on request.

Fiber Silo

Due to their relatively low bulk density, flow properties, consistency, or static electricity, light-weight materials such as fibers tend easily to bridge when being stored and discharged. The purpose of the Fiber Silo is precisely to avoid this unwanted effect.

Low bulk density Specially for the processing of fibers with a low bulk density. Also suitable for various flakes and powder.
Bulk density Bulk densities of 3 – 6 lbs/ft³ (50 to 100 kg/m³)
Agitator shaft The agitator feeds the material continuously towards the discharge screw.
Material Size Typical fiber lengths are 0.4 – 1.2 inches (10 to 30 mm) in length
Feeding Tangential feeding via pressure transport.
Conical The conical design ensures a sloughing of the material and prevents bridging of the material.
Outlet Up to 3 controllable material outlets possible.
Discharge Consistent and adjustable discharge by means of separate discharge/ screw.
Manhole Manhole with limit switches for better maintenance of the silo.
Volume Typical fiber lengths are 0.5 to 1 in (10 to 30 mm) in length.

Film Flake Silo

Due to their relatively low bulk density, flow properties, consistency, or static electricity, light-weight materials such as film flakes tend easily to bridge when being stored and discharged. The purpose of the Film Flake Silo is precisely to avoid this unwanted effect.

Bulk density Bulk densities of 1.5 – 20 lbs/ft³ (20 to 300 kg/m³)
Mixing Screw Three vertically-mounted mixing screws.
Homogenization Constant movement of the material promotes homogenization of film flakes of variable thickness and size.
Material Size Film flakes are up to 1 in (30 mm) in length.
Feeding Tangential feeding via pressure transport.
No Dead Zones Specially shaped silo to avoid dead spots.
Discharge Consistent and adjustable discharge via a separate discharge screw.
Manhole Manhole with limit switches for better maintenance of the Silo.
Volume Volumes from 105 ft³ to 1,400 ft³ (3 m³ to 40 m³).

Block-Type Silo

Storage and dosed discharge of ground- and sensitive materials ( e.g.: film flakes, fibers, foams, etc.)

Low bulk density Specially for processing of materials with low bulk density.
Sensitive bulk Specially suitable for sensitive bulk.
Bulk density Bulk densities of 3 -15 lbs/ft³ (50 to 200 kg/m³)
Feeding Tangential feeding via pressure transport.
Loosening The bottom of the substructure contains a twin discharge screw and stepped loosening elements that prevent the material from bridging.
Discharge The material sinks smoothly. A trough screw extending over the complete length of the silo ensures a uniform and adjustable discharge.
Manhole Manhole with limit switches for better maintenance of the silo.
Volume By default, block-type silos with a volume up to 2,100 ft³ (60 m³) are available.
Materials Standard- or stainless steel.
Railing/vertical ladder Optional, with guard rails on top and vertical ladder, including back protection.
