Pelletizing materials at the end of a recycling process is a common way of introducing recycled materials into other products, but in many cases the mix of material challenges the plastic recycler with varying melt flow and property ranges. So, in many cases, material that is pelletized at a recycling plant is further compounded in a second step to reach the desired properties of the end user.
With the MAS co-rotating, conical, twin-screw extruder, we offer a one-step re-compounding line to the plastic recycler. When pelletizing recycled materials with the MAS twin-screw re-compounding line, our clients can extrude a wide variety of material streams together with fillers, additives and other components in one step. Thus, saving a second heat cycle as well as large amounts of energy.
Types of Waste/Materials: HDPE, PP, LDPE, LLDPE and more
